Tur Budaya 2015
Tur Budaya is a kind of an outdoor education
learning where we can learn its social culture. So, as you can guess if the
title must have a place that has a distinctive culture, you may know the place.
Bali—One of an island in Indonesia that well-known for its culture. So, that
was our destination. “#32016 goes to Bali” you may say.
I and all of my friends in SMAN 3 Bandung went
to Bali by train then cross the bay by ship. We spent two days and a half may
be. I don’t remember but may be. In the midnight, we arrived at Bali. In Bali,
we stayed at Nirmala Hotel. It was quite cozy hotel and three stars hotel.
The first destination in the first morning in
Bali was going to Nusa Dua. Before we went, we had a breakfast in hotel. The
food was good and I liked it. I found this funny, I realized that the more I
was getting near to Bali, the dish tasted more delicious in every moment when
we had our food. For real, I had a big appetite there. When breakfast, I had
done my breakfast for two people portions. Nice shot right!
Breakfast in stomach, Nusa Dua up ahead. We
went there by bus with our tour guide accompanied us. There were 10 buses which
precisely for ten classes. We passed toll road. The road was just built one
year ago (if I’m not wrong). The unique thing for this toll was that motorcycle
could pass this toll road, too. It was quite good to pass this road, since I
only saw it in TV, yeah even though I ever went to Bali before.
Unrealized we’d arrived in Nusa Dua… yeah..
(Because as long as the trip in the bus, I was sleeping, hehe) Now what do you
know about Nusa Dua? It’s beauty? They’re facilities? Or its sea? Yeah you’re
right, the answer is all them is true. Yeah, but the first thing that we were
going to try was water sport and the second thing, we were going to play in one
of the beaches in Nusa Dua.
The water sports that we tried were banana boat,
parasailing, flying fish, jet ski, donut boat, glass bottom boat to Turtle
Island. So many of my friends played one of them unless glass bottom boat to
Turtle Island but I rather choose went to Turtle Island because I didn’t want
to get wet. Just for information there were some packages that you can choose.
Such as, banana boat, flying fish, and parasailing in one package and any of
them. For the price itself, to me, it was quite expensive.
So, on my way to Turtle Island. The island was
cross Nusa Dua (may be), so we used boat to go to Turtle Island. Guessed what?!
I thought going there wouldn’t make me wet, but my calf to foots were wet. The boat
stepped aside quite far from my reach. So, I had to walk and pass the water to
hop into the boat—Disappointed. Knew what! Seeing Parasailing almost didn’t
reach the water. I thought my choice wasn’t that right, but I didn’t care again
since the price was cheaper. I still could be happy.
The boat was moving in its way to Turtle
Island. On the middle of our way to Turtle Island, we stopped. We were given
some bread by the sailor so we could feed the fishes. We ripped them into
pieces then threw them away. Then, the fish gathered around our boat and ate
the breads. The fish were wonderful. They had so many colors and they were so
beauty. I was very excited.
Finally, we had arrived at Turtle Island. We
were welcomed by a tour guide. The tour guide led us to go in. He explained
anything there while we were had our tour. We saw some little turtle in the
pool. We saw some old turtle, too. They were so big—Bigger than I thought. I
felt so wonderful to see them in real. I could touch and played with them. Not
forgot to take some pic. I saw so many animals there. There were eagle, snakes,
iguana, bath, and so many others.
After had a tour on Turtle Island, we went back
to Nusa Dua. We had our lunch in the shore. I liked the food. The food was good,
especially the satay and otak-otak. Huhuhu I liked them. The taste was so rich.
Between sour from lime and spicy from cayenne pepper. So
refreshing. After I had my lunch, I was in rush to go to the bus to get AC. I
couldn’t stand the temperature there. It was so hot. Since I lived in Bandung
where the temperature was quite cold, I couldn’t easily get along with the
temperature there.
Finished with
water sport, we went to the second destination—Pandawa Beach. To me, this beach
was more beauty than Kuta Beach. The sea was still pure blue. The sand was
still white and clean. In the way to the beach, we could some big statue that
was built on the cliff. It was awesome. The statues were an image of the Hindus
God (If I’m not wrong). I thought that Balinese was a good artists.
There, we had
some games to play. We had futsal match where each class should compete the
other and won the game. The players were all boys. Yeah, since the rules said
it so. I just could watch and stare. Too long to stay on the beach, I felt like
my skin was burnt by the sun rays. I was in hurry to step aside and find a
place to hide myself from sun rays. Then, I stayed at a stall and bought a
drink. Not for a long time, my friends came and joined with me.
In the stall, I just
sit and drank coconut water which my friend had bought. Saw the view and
enjoyed the moment. It was such a peace to see the beauty of the sea. I could
see my friends were playing futsal. I could see some tourists were sunbathing.
I was just wondering why they could stand the temperature. Hah, the world was
more complicated than I thought.
A night had already risen, we had our dinner at Jimbaran Bay.
It was a restaurant where we could eat at the sea shore. It had a beauty view,
but unlucky, we came in the wrong time. So we couldn’t see the sunset. The view
was a matter but the food was more than just a matter for me. The seafood was
good. We had our dinner with a dancer entrained us.
We had some entertainment, too.
It was like celebrating every student who had birthday in that day. They got
cake and some candle to turn off. Then, they had to give their piece of cake to
their special person. They confused to choose the person. Some of them might be
have one but they didn’t want to show him/she to the public. Haha, kind of shy.
At the end, they gave it away. Well, that was pretty good to see that moment.
We had an event, too. It was to
lit lampion and then threw them it the air. Every class was given one lampion.
We lit the lampion together. After we had lit the lampion, we counted down.10,
9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Then, we let them fly in the air. After we set them free,
the fireworks started to tone up the moment. It was entertaining.
After we had so many food and
happy moment, we went to hotel. We had a tiring day so after arrived at hotel I
directly took a bath and went to sleep. It was quite in the midnight. It was
tiring but it was good too. One day in Bali had rolled up.
There were
so many events that had already happened when three days in Bali. We had a good
moment and a good fun. Sorry, I just can tell you the first day that I did, but
